Short Story

This story begins with Juan Osorio who was a man quite honest and very cheerful. As soon as he fall in love he got married.
Juan and his wife lived for many time in the country, they has got three children.
Juan and her wife called Sara began to split up because they didn’t have a good relationship. He decided to leave his family and to go far away . He didn’t matter about anything and less his family.
Juan takes a bus to a center city he stayed three days and he didn´t like it because it was noise and there were many people. He had been to a different city and days passed and he asked to the people about one place where he could breathe clean air and get a feeling of peace and they told him about a mountain that wasn’t far away .

He felt lovely for this place and catch a bus to arrive to the mountain to live and stay there.
Juan has thought to work and make a big house with one little garden. He arrived to a camping zone and asked to the receptionist about a job vacancy. She anwers yes, we need one person that live and take care this place. Juan stayed for many years working and caring this camping and meeting people who visit it in the summer for a rest. He made friends, but when they leave, he feel lonely.
When Juan was sleeping he smelled that his house was on fire, he didn’t believe that that happened to him. Some people went there to help him. The boss decided to fire him because he didn´t need a person that be irresponsible and he move one place far away where the weather is not good it’s cold, rainy and snowy.
Juan stayed in the range for many time lonely with his dogs. The police know that Juan was living there.
Months and years passed and the police always visit him, but one day they found Juan dead in his bedroom.

Review of the film

Bridget Jones`s Diary
This film is a romantic comedy. The main characters are: Bridget Jones interpreted by Renèe Zellweger, Darcy interpreted by Colin Firth, Daniel Clever and interpreted by Hugh Grant.

Bridget Jones is thirty years and so and she is not married yet. She is overweight and she likes to be alone, drink, smoke, watch TV and go to parties her family invited some neighbours. her mother told her that a gentleman called Darcy was not married, her girlfriend have been unfaithful to him. Bridget Jones and Darcy prepared a meeting, but they discussed and didn`t have a good meet.
Bridget Jones everyday go to the publishing’s Daniel Clever who was her boss.They have a good relationship. One day he sent her an e-mail and started to go out. Bridget was thinking that she found the man of her life.
Daniel Clever told Bridget that his best friend have betrayed him. He had out with her girlfriend . She can`t believe that that happened him.

Bridget discovered the unfaithful of Daniel Clever, he apologized her , but she didn`t accept. She has decided to be alone.
Bridget was prepared some dinner to celebrate her birthday with her friends. in these moment, an unexpected visit arrived, it was Darcy who wanted to congratulate her in her happy birthday.

Then, and having finished a cheerful dinner with her friends together with Darcy. Daniel Clever arrived in that moment and started to discuss because Daniel Clever was a traitor. Bridget don’t understand something.
When Bridget see Daniel Clever in the lying on the floor with blood she goes to rescue and discuss with Darcy and he decided to go away . Daniel clever said that he love her but she doesn`t feel good with his declaration and she dicided to be alone.

Darcy decided to travel, but he came back and he looked for Bridget to tell her that he love her.

I love these film because if you see it every now and then you won’t get bored, because this film has attractive actors and its screenplay is not tedious.
Its soundtrack have great voices such as Aretha Franklin and other singers that make scenes look more atractive.
I really enjoy this film and I believe this is one of my favourite movies.

I´m really happy that you are going to arrive in my country. I’m making some arrangement for your coming. It’ll be great!!

Well, here I give you some instructions . First one, when you arrived at the airport of Chile you must take a bus and then the metro from station Los Heroes to La Cisterna. From station La Cisterna, when you go out, you have to take a bus that goes to Gran Avenida street and you’ll need to get off at 30 bus stop of gran avenida street. I’ll be waiting for you or if you don’t want, you will have to walk 4blocks and you will see a village. So, at the front of this there is my house number 384.

I have a suggestion to make about the clothes you’ll have to wear, because it is cold in Chile now. We are in autumn season. So, I think you should bring warm clothes.

Well, I must go now because I have get up early tomorrow to go to work. I can’t wait to hearing from you.

The computer has greatly improved our lives today.

Nowadays, computers have made our lives simpler and more entertaining. However, the misuse of them can be dangerous to the society.

On the positive side, they are good tools for jobs. Due to they have different applications for use them as complements in our professions. In addition to this. Using the internet we can communicate each other and access to information faster. Another advantage is that almost the whole world has access to them.

On the negative side, we have to much access to negative information where children can watch forbidden videos. Besides this, there are hackers who use information, damaging big companies and sometimes normal people. Another disadvantage is that people spend too much time in front of computer screens. Wich can contract too many sicknesses, stress, muscular pains, fatigue, visual illnesses, etc. Furthermore, they don’t develop the affective and social side.

Finally, computers have been a great progress for this time, but we have to know how and when use them properly.

Informal Letters

Dear Mark,

Thanks for your letter. It `s great that you get used to getting up at six every morning to milk the cows. You are going to be a true farmer. Well, I can tell you that I`m living in Valdivia which is located in the south of Chile, it’s a beautiful place with many trees, lakes, mountains and I can breath clear air, but it usually rains here for many days and sometimes it’s cold..

I still haven’t got used to the change of weather. It’s rainy and humid. We often stay at home all day and I usually get irritated because I can’t go out.
I’d say that I’ve made some friends. They are very friendly with me.
Sometimes, I go to the craft market and I can see all type of things such as: wood carving, pictures, jewerly, etc. This is really beautiful!! In addition to that, I’ve gone to the adventure park where you can do different sports. For example: I went climbing with my father. He likes to be fit whereas I don’t like it. But I usually try to be in good form.
Besides, after class I go to work, working as a sale clerk in a cake shop and this is delicious, because I can taste different cakes and I serve to many people. Specially, tourists that arrive at this shop.

It’s incredible that our lady, the oldest sheepdog, had had puppies!! Well, I have been told about your invitation and I think that I’ll accept it in summer, because here the weather is strange and change very fast. By the way it will be funny to help you and it’s a good way to spend my vacation in your home.

Anyway, I must go because my mother is calling me to have dinner.
