Introduction:

This report is written to analyse the creation of a new common classroom in our university for students when they are not in class.The student union and I have been making surveys and checking the idea.
A new common room:
There are many good places in the university but some of them are not very well making the most of. For example, its small courtyard where students use for playing ping-pong, whereas to use it for a more important purpose. There you can not study or you can not practice your english. However, there are some reasons that may be taken into account.

1.To get a new common room. It could be near of the library or the casino because this way, students will find it easy to access.
2.To establish one exclusive students’ zone for practicing the english language and having a coffe break.
3.To consider the necessary implemmention for the room. such as: radio, computer with internet access and some comfortable furnitures.

We would like to consider the following ideas as well. So that to improve the university educational services. Here are the results of the students’ opinion.

Crime and Environment review

The term School shooting most commonly describes acts committed by either a students from outside the school campus. In the United Stated, one of the most prominent school shootings was that at Columbine High School, Colorado. In 1999 two students murdered thirteen people on the school campus before they committed suicide.
In my opinion the schools shooting have had a political impact spurring some to press for more stringent gun control law.

Perjury is the wilful and corrupt taking of a false oath in regard to a material matter in a judicial proceeding.
Perjury is considered a serious offensive as it can be used to usurp the power of the courts, resulting in miscarriages of justices.
By the way, famous people who have been accused such as Bill Clinton and Lewinsky `s testimony differ, it must be Clinton who is lying.

Theft
There are generally three different types of burglars. The professional, the semi-professional and the amateur. They are often male teenagers who live near your home.
Burglars know that the key to success is planning. The semi-professional burglar may scout a neighbourhood for up to a week, while the amateur burglar will spend only a few hours, casing a residence.
By the way, ordinary people can help in the fight against crime such as to be part of the community and work together with the authority.

I have some complaints about your report about demonstration. In this Monday I`ve just read the newspaper report about an event, I got impression that you did not write all the information besides is incorrect.

Firstly, the protesters claimed for the construction of the road and the extinction of the snails but also about the destruction of woodland.

Secondly, the amount of people gathered there were about 2,000 not 200 how was indicated in the report.

In addition to this, the protesters were chanting slogans but the correct was a silent demonstration.

Another aspect when you refered to the”troublemarkers” as unemployed youngsters. This is not true because many of them were local residents.

What can ordinary people do to help the fight against the crime?

Crimes from antiquity time have been a long problem by society so far. Nowadays, for the society and other country is a priority to keep the order in the streets and the security for people, but it is not sufficient.

To change this situation neighbours have taken the decision to formed one committee in order to discuss the problem that affect their community. One resolve was building bars of solid iron into fence and door in the entrance of neighbourhood. This could be a good way to protect them against looting, steal or attack.
By the way other resident have imitated this measure of protection and also the authority have support this initiative to give them the necessary money and measure of security such as major number of police surroundings.

On the other hand, to apply the sanctions for the crimes and damage that criminals have provoked. Moreover, the victims have said that about laws the only thing that works is the injustice. Do you think it is correct to apply death sentence to criminal who have stolen and kill someone or you think they deserved a lower sentence such as the life imprisonment?
I think that the laws must be hard and with respect to apply death sentence will be a measure to reduce the crimes in our society and the futures criminal are going to think twice before killing..

Finally, what for many people can be correct or incorrect to apply death sentence. They will have a reason and their opinion is respectful

In conclusion, ordinary people can help in the fight against crime such as to report a crime, to be part of the community and work together with the committees and the authority.

Part2

It should be illegal for parent to hit their children.

Nowadays, most children still living maltreat in their home. Some parents recognize that at least once they have hit to the children. No matter hurt physical or psychological that produce.
Some parents can´t control themselves causing death of their own children. Personally, I think that they lose their reason and they believe that is a good way to teach.

Anyway, some parents are authoritarian, too much strict and resolve problem punishment and these people need some treatment psychological how also their family.
In Chile there are many institution that help to them. Moreover UNICEF is a world organization that protecting the vulnerable(children).

Finally, is the wrong way that parent to hit their children and the violence do not lead anything.

In conclusion, children to take care and protect to them.

I writing to express my thanks of have won this amazing price.I`m very happy to visit the campsite because It´s a great opportunity to have two week holidays.
I've had study and work and I need a spend more time for myself.

I would like to go next friday because these week I don't have to work.

Dear Alice,
Sorry it’s taken me so long to write, but as you know I’ve been arranging the marriage of my brother. In fact, I finished last Saturday, so I’ m going to prepare myself to the fiestas patrias. Every september 18th my family celebrate the glory of army and the independence of our country. The history also known as the First Government Junta, was the organ established to rule Chile following the deposition of King Fernando VII by Napoleon Bonaparte. It was the earliest step in the Chilean struggle for independence, and anniversary of its establishment is celebrated as the national day of Chile.

Also, in Chile you can find a traditional place called “Fonda” it is very popular that you can go with your family or friends and you can eat typical food such as empanadas, anticuchos or drink “ chicha” made of apple or grapes, in the same place you can dance “cueca” or cumbia all night.

This celebration also have the parada militar, which takes place in the O’Higgins.park Many people are waiting to see them when the soldiers march and the airplanes fly. It`s great to seem them.

Anyway, this celebration is entertained and the most important that I can stay together with my family or some friends.

The best way to travel in Santiago

Nowadays travel in Santiago or surrounding of this is a common activity for all chilean family. Usually, on holidays most people are used to travel by car or bus.

Today there are many kind of transports which are within reach of all. The Santiago city subway has a number stations serving. The subways operates from Monday to Sunday.
There is customer information center bulletin (transantiago) near the main booth in every station. You ´ll find subways map, train schedule and information about route you want to take. It´s very accessible to anyone.

Despite, some problems that produce during hour pick for quantity of public it become with less continuity of serving but most people to choose them for the best way of travel to any place in a short period of time.

However it is not the only way to travel in Chile, the journey by bus can be such long how cheap. El rodoviario de buses en Santiago is the biggest `s Terminal de Alameda from here you can travel to coast, north, south our country.
In Chile operate on regularly a line of train which leave to places or cities from Santiago to Rancagua, San Fernando, etc . It is other way so cheaper how faster.
In the other side most people use to port terminals which only used it for to export and imported goods and merchandise. Some of the most popular sections are Puerto Montt-Quellon- Chaiten, etc.

Finally, I think that the best way of travel depend on our needs, and the place that we will want to choose and Which we will want to go.

Travel Narrows the mind

Personally, I think that the writer give any arguments negative about travel and tourism. When he said the people waste time or the instinct to explore has been exhausted. I really don´t think so because most people imagine to visit any place fascinate and don´t matter to travel a long-distance or to pay a lot of money. The most important to have a new experience.
Nowadays most people have to access visit a foreign country such as study or work and their have a result satisfactory.
Finally, I believe if we have a possibility of travel it will be a great experience our life.

What effect does tourism have on Chile?
Nowadays the effect have tourism in Chile is increase specially holidays. Most people moved by bus, train, etc or they choice company offered service of trip very attractive, convenience and reasonable prices.
In addition the foreign tourists that arrive our country to enjoy about natural landscape, to make a different activities and also can learn our culture.

Positive and negative effects tourism

Tourism is a good activity to practice and clearly have many advantages for who travelled.
However, there are also some drawbacks.

On the positive side, foreign tourists can admire to architecture, buildings, landscape, and can also to learn about the culture, a typical dish and don´t forget about to go shopping for antiques, perfumes, etc. Another advantage for foreing tourists who want to practice sport have plenty to offer such as parachuting, kayac, etc.

On the negative side, is that some company service offered deceitful. You must check this before go to travel, so you can have a safe trip or you will be disappointed with the experience and don´t enjoy it. Moreover tourists when arrived at a foreign country they can´t understand about speech or language. Finally, what for many people is a entertaining to go to travel, for other is nuisance take long distances.

In conclusion, tourism and travel has benefited our society and it enables us to learn, value other cultures.

My opinion about the stories

According to the stories, I´d prefer to go an island Pulau Perhentian Kecil, Malaysia because its has beaches, exotic islands, lush virgin tropical jungle, dazzling waterfalls, natural landscapes and I could also enjoy activities like camping and the experience of suwimming with turtles.
The other stories talk about the experience of a man who travel to the Virgen Islands and doesn´t give characteristics of the place.

The advantages and disadvantages of living in the countryside

May I give you some points about them?
In the last summer with my family, we went on vacation to one place called Los Angeles, this is located in the south of Chile.
I enjoyed the country because it was peaceful, relaxing, natural, simple and I would like to visit it in the next spring.

Although, the country can be boring for its severe weather condition. Specially in winter season and sometimes you can feel isolated.

However, the people that are living there, have the opportunity to enjoy the environment. Such as; the fresh air, clean air, nature, etc. .

In spite of the fact that the people don’t live close to facilities such as supermarket, pharmacy and public transportation, it seems they are accustomed to live in this way and they live less stressed than you can imagine. Finally, many people prefer living in the countryside even though they don`t have the latest technology, entertainments, etc.

In conclusion, living in the countryside is convenient because its lifestyle is cheaper, more comfortable and more peaceful than living in the city.

In my opinion, I would like to live in the countryside because nowadays the city is more stressful, noise, polluted and the people are hurry all the time.
One advantage of living in a country is that you enjoy a peaceful place, where you can rest and have more comfortable lifestyle while you’re in the job or in your home.
However, one disadvantage is that you can’t find the technology or resources necessaries to communicate with people, such as: internet connection, but it only depends on our imagination if you want to have fun without technology.

I am writing for the following reason. I am most dissatisfied with the service and bad time that I had in the trip.

Firstly, although I chose the shopping trip to Boulogne nearby a hypermarket I have to express that I’m disappointed with the trip and I did not enjoy it because When we went to the popular hypermarket it was crowded of people, there were long queues at the checkouts and then I had only one hour in Boulogne to visit the Haute Ville, the old walled town with its charming restaurants. The worse of this situation was that we found closed restaurants when got there.
Furthermore, the trip was uncomfortable because its air-conditioning was not working, and it was hot, there wasn´t cold drinks while in the advertisement were offered refreshment, video, etc Also I arrived at home at 11.30pm, two hours later than appeared in the schedule.

Consequently, I want you to give me my money back for the low quality service offered by your company. If I do not have a quick answer I will denounce your company for misleading publicity

Descriptions

When I took a subway two weeks ago there were many people in the station and one person who were next to me started to talk about that he couldn’t read his book and came up to me to ask me if I was waiting and I answered yes. Then, he asked me where I lived and then I asked him the same and when he answered I didn’t believe that we were living so close and that even we had friends in common.

He looked friendly and in the whole conversation he smiled and told me that he was a music teacher and he teached to teenagers at school. He said that He went to a job interview because he wanted to change his job and have holidays.

Short Story

This story begins with Juan Osorio who was a man quite honest and very cheerful. As soon as he fall in love he got married.
Juan and his wife lived for many time in the country, they has got three children.
Juan and her wife called Sara began to split up because they didn’t have a good relationship. He decided to leave his family and to go far away . He didn’t matter about anything and less his family.
Juan takes a bus to a center city he stayed three days and he didn´t like it because it was noise and there were many people. He had been to a different city and days passed and he asked to the people about one place where he could breathe clean air and get a feeling of peace and they told him about a mountain that wasn’t far away .

He felt lovely for this place and catch a bus to arrive to the mountain to live and stay there.
Juan has thought to work and make a big house with one little garden. He arrived to a camping zone and asked to the receptionist about a job vacancy. She anwers yes, we need one person that live and take care this place. Juan stayed for many years working and caring this camping and meeting people who visit it in the summer for a rest. He made friends, but when they leave, he feel lonely.
When Juan was sleeping he smelled that his house was on fire, he didn’t believe that that happened to him. Some people went there to help him. The boss decided to fire him because he didn´t need a person that be irresponsible and he move one place far away where the weather is not good it’s cold, rainy and snowy.
Juan stayed in the range for many time lonely with his dogs. The police know that Juan was living there.
Months and years passed and the police always visit him, but one day they found Juan dead in his bedroom.

Review of the film

Bridget Jones`s Diary
This film is a romantic comedy. The main characters are: Bridget Jones interpreted by Renèe Zellweger, Darcy interpreted by Colin Firth, Daniel Clever and interpreted by Hugh Grant.

Bridget Jones is thirty years and so and she is not married yet. She is overweight and she likes to be alone, drink, smoke, watch TV and go to parties her family invited some neighbours. her mother told her that a gentleman called Darcy was not married, her girlfriend have been unfaithful to him. Bridget Jones and Darcy prepared a meeting, but they discussed and didn`t have a good meet.
Bridget Jones everyday go to the publishing’s Daniel Clever who was her boss.They have a good relationship. One day he sent her an e-mail and started to go out. Bridget was thinking that she found the man of her life.
Daniel Clever told Bridget that his best friend have betrayed him. He had out with her girlfriend . She can`t believe that that happened him.

Bridget discovered the unfaithful of Daniel Clever, he apologized her , but she didn`t accept. She has decided to be alone.
Bridget was prepared some dinner to celebrate her birthday with her friends. in these moment, an unexpected visit arrived, it was Darcy who wanted to congratulate her in her happy birthday.

Then, and having finished a cheerful dinner with her friends together with Darcy. Daniel Clever arrived in that moment and started to discuss because Daniel Clever was a traitor. Bridget don’t understand something.
When Bridget see Daniel Clever in the lying on the floor with blood she goes to rescue and discuss with Darcy and he decided to go away . Daniel clever said that he love her but she doesn`t feel good with his declaration and she dicided to be alone.

Darcy decided to travel, but he came back and he looked for Bridget to tell her that he love her.

I love these film because if you see it every now and then you won’t get bored, because this film has attractive actors and its screenplay is not tedious.
Its soundtrack have great voices such as Aretha Franklin and other singers that make scenes look more atractive.
I really enjoy this film and I believe this is one of my favourite movies.

Well, here I give you some instructions . First one, when you arrived at the airport of Chile you must take a bus and then the metro from station Los Heroes to La Cisterna. From station La Cisterna, when you go out, you have to take a bus that goes to Gran Avenida street and you’ll need to get off at 30 bus stop of gran avenida street. I’ll be waiting for you or if you don’t want, you will have to walk 4blocks and you will see a village. So, at the front of this there is my house number 384.

I have a suggestion to make about the clothes you’ll have to wear, because it is cold in Chile now. We are in autumn season. So, I think you should bring warm clothes.

The computer has greatly improved our lives today.

Nowadays, computers have made our lives simpler and more entertaining. However, the misuse of them can be dangerous to the society.

On the positive side, they are good tools for jobs. Due to they have different applications for use them as complements in our professions. In addition to this. Using the internet we can communicate each other and access to information faster. Another advantage is that almost the whole world has access to them.

On the negative side, we have to much access to negative information where children can watch forbidden videos. Besides this, there are hackers who use information, damaging big companies and sometimes normal people. Another disadvantage is that people spend too much time in front of computer screens. Wich can contract too many sicknesses, stress, muscular pains, fatigue, visual illnesses, etc. Furthermore, they don’t develop the affective and social side.

Finally, computers have been a great progress for this time, but we have to know how and when use them properly.

Thanks for your letter. It `s great that you get used to getting up at six every morning to milk the cows. You are going to be a true farmer. Well, I can tell you that I`m living in Valdivia which is located in the south of Chile, it’s a beautiful place with many trees, lakes, mountains and I can breath clear air, but it usually rains here for many days and sometimes it’s cold..

I still haven’t got used to the change of weather. It’s rainy and humid. We often stay at home all day and I usually get irritated because I can’t go out.
I’d say that I’ve made some friends. They are very friendly with me.
Sometimes, I go to the craft market and I can see all type of things such as: wood carving, pictures, jewerly, etc. This is really beautiful!! In addition to that, I’ve gone to the adventure park where you can do different sports. For example: I went climbing with my father. He likes to be fit whereas I don’t like it. But I usually try to be in good form.
Besides, after class I go to work, working as a sale clerk in a cake shop and this is delicious, because I can taste different cakes and I serve to many people. Specially, tourists that arrive at this shop.

It’s incredible that our lady, the oldest sheepdog, had had puppies!! Well, I have been told about your invitation and I think that I’ll accept it in summer, because here the weather is strange and change very fast. By the way it will be funny to help you and it’s a good way to spend my vacation in your home.
